Interactive Media & Performance
I am interested in how the intersection new technology, and audience participation can tell brand new stories. Explore how I use TouchDesigner to create interactive props and projections,
How Do I Tell Her?
Would you tell someone who sacrificed everything for you that it was all for nothing? How Do I Tell Her is an interactive play about a young burnout confronting her younger self in the afterlife. Split into two versions—one who lived to age 19 and another to her mid-twenties—they are detained by Heaven’s authority after their guardian angel breaks destiny's laws. The angel’s actions, mysterious even to them, must be unraveled as they face interrogation by Heaven's representative, the audience.
Performed at FinFringe Festival, 2025.
Starring: Klara Mago, Gina Mobilia, Lauren Sloan
Written by Lauren Sloan
Directed by Dylin Taylor

TouchDesigner for Performance
From interactive props to projections, TouchDesigner is a powerful tool that I have used for multiple performances.
How Do I Tell Her
Projected backdrops for How Do I Tell Her made in and cued by TouchDesigner to show the inner memories of the characters.
Creation Angels
In this performance, two members of the audience are invited up to help a junior angle create a new life form. Using the scales, which was connected to an arduino board that mapped the tilt of the scales in TouchDesigner, each angel added ingredients to make a new projected behind them.
PS3 Collaboration
As artist in residence at PS3, I used TouchDesigner to bring to life the setting of a student written play, written by 5th Graders. From drawings to animations, the set projections changed with the story.
